GREG TROJAND: 2025-26 U13 COACH

Coach Greg Trojand leads the Riverside U13 hockey team with a passion for player development and a deep love for the game. With 27 years of coaching experience ranging from AAA to Junior B and a High Performance 1 certification, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.
Coach Trojand’s coaching philosophy is simple: “Compete and Be a Great Teammate.” He believes in fostering a high-energy, competitive environment where players push themselves to be their best while also supporting and elevating their teammates. His approach emphasizes skill development, discipline, and teamwork, helping young athletes grow both on and off the ice.
Throughout his career, he has worked with athletes at various levels OHL, NCAA and NHL, refining their skills, building confidence, and developing strong hockey IQs. His experience coaching at elite levels allows him to prepare players for the next steps in their hockey journeys. Under his leadership, Riverside U13 focuses on a relentless work ethic, smart team play, and respect for the game.
Off the ice, Coach Trojand is committed to fostering a positive team culture, ensuring that players develop as athletes and also as individuals who understand the value of hard work, accountability, and camaraderie.
