COVID Information From Around the Province
Some of you may have read / heard about the GTHL's decision that requires all members and participants to be vaccinated and also the Leamington Council's decision requiring the same for all users of their facilities. You may be wondering how / if / when these decisions will affect RMHA. The short answer is, we don't know.

Many questions remain unanswered and you are as informed as we are regarding the state of vaccine mandates. Your decision about whether your family is vaccinated is a private matter and hopefully its a decision you made with the best interest of your family in mind. Having said that, if our Public Health Unit or the Ontario Minor Hockey Association makes Covid vaccines a requirement, then that may add another layer to your decision making process. As of today, that requirement has not been made but as we all know, when it comes to Covid, changes are made on a daily or hourly basis!

Our goal at RMHA is and always has been to provide hockey programming to the youth of our community. We believe that a normal hockey season is not only very possible, but quite likely and we're continuing to plan for that outcome. If there are vaccination mandates that cause some of our members to change their minds about hockey, that's their choice to make.

We will continue to update you with relevant information as it becomes available and we sincerely hope that any vaccine mandates that may yet to be imposed, will have a minimal effect on our programming.
