IMPORTANT Message regarding 2020-21 Season
Attention Ranger Families.....RMHA has made the difficult decision to cease all hockey activities for the remainder of the 2020-21 season and cancel our plans for a Winter session.

All families that had previously registered for the Winter session received an email earlier today (Sunday) outlining the options for their current registration. If you did not receive those instructions please contact [email protected]

Existing public health restrictions, the City's decision to remove ice from the WFCU facility, and the lack of a clear vision as to what February and beyond may bring leaves us all in the unenviable position of simply not knowing whether viable hockey can return this winter. We are grateful that we were able to provide a successful Fall session that gave our members some semblance of meaningful hockey from early September through to the end of November.

Despite information from our governing bodies (OMHA, OHF) giving minor hockey associations the option of attempting to continue seasons through to the end of May. RMHA does not believe that to be a path that is in the best interests of our members as many will then be focusing on other sports such as soccer, baseball, etc, assuming public health permissions allow "normal" activities by that time. We have also learned that Travel tryouts for the 2021-22 season cannot occur until the Fall as opposed to the spring which is what we have become accustomed to. More information on that as well as registration for next season will be made available at a later date when the OMHA and OHF have finalized the details.

Your Board of Directors thanks you all for your patience and understanding and hope to see you in September 2021 for a return to what we hope will be *normal* hockey.
