RMHA's Honorary Captain
RMHA has named Andrew Grenon as their honorary captain since RMHA's 60th Anniversary. RMHA has a monument for Andrew Grenon between the AM800 arena and Green Shield arena entrance. Who is Andrew Grenon? Andrew is a Windsor soldier who played Riverside Minor hockey as a boy, before enlisting in the Canadian Armed Forces.  Andrew Grenon was a 23-year-old soldier who was killed while serving in Afghanistan on September 3rd, 2008.  Before the hockey season begins, remember the ultimate sacrifice Andrew made for all of us. Hopefully every RMHA player who dons on a Riverside sweater plays with the spirit and enthusiasm of Andrew Grenon.
