WFCU and Roseland Curling Club
On Tuesday Aug 8th, city Council accepted the motion to move Roseland Curling out of its existing south Windsor home however the issue is not resolved. You can read the full article here. It is important to note that our 2023-24 season will NOT be disrupted and we expect the City to uphold their promise to RMHA when we were forced out of Riverside Arena, that we will have a "permanent home" at the WFCU center that will accommodate all our needs. That is definitely something we will continue to remind Council if anything starts looking amiss for our organization.

We remain optimistic that Council will see a clearer path forward that does not adversely disrupt the youth of our City.

We believe that move will have a *major* disruption to the youth athletes across our community and is not taken into consideration in the proposal being brought forward.

Curling deserves a home, however we believe renovations to their existing home should be further investigated so as to ensure that all the relevant costs associated with the proposal are further expounded so as to satisfy the holistic effects of eliminating CG rink from youth athlete usage.
