It was an incredible weekend of hockey across the WFCU Centre and Forest Glade rinks, filled with hard-fought battles, sportsmanship, and plenty of excitement on the ice.
We want to extend a huge thank you to all the players, coaches, and families who traveled from near and far to make this event a success. Your energy in the stands and dedication on the ice truly made this a weekend to remember.
🏆 Tournament Champions
After a grueling schedule of round-robin play, intense quarterfinals, and high-stakes semifinals, four teams rose to the top to claim the championship titles in their respective divisions:
U9 Finals: LBMX Hurricanes
The LBMX Hurricanes displayed heart and hustle throughout the tournament. Following a thrilling 6-4 semifinal (U9SF1) win over the St. Thomas Stars Green Team, they faced off against the SPWHL FCD Pro Shop Flyers. The Hurricanes stayed sharp and clinched the title with a gritty 5-4 victory.
U11 Finals: Aylmer Flames Red
It was a double-victory weekend for Aylmer! The Aylmer Flames Red U11 squad dominated their path to the trophy. After shutting out the Windsor Purple Crushers 4-0 in the semifinals (U11SF1), they met Mount Brydges Cougars Gold in the final. In a high-scoring battle, the Flames came out on top with a 6-3 win.
U13 Finals: SPWHL Roy Graham Trucking
SPWHL Roy Graham Trucking showcased incredible stamina and skill. They earned their spot in the final with a dominant 6-1 win in their semifinal (U13SF1) against Strathroy. In the championship game, they continued their scoring streak to defeat the Mooretown Jr. Flags FC1 with a 6-1 finish.
U15 Finals: Aylmer Flames Red
The Aylmer Flames Red proved to be a powerhouse this weekend. After a narrow 3-2 victory in a tense semifinal (U15SF1) against the Windsor Jr. Spitfires Green, they carried that momentum into the finals. They secured the championship with a decisive 2-0 victory over the Windsor Angry Bananas.
