REMINDER: Public Health Requirements During the Tournament
As per previous communications, this is a reminder regarding the Windsor-Essex County Public Health measures in place that will impact our upcoming tournament.

Please ensure you read through the information carefully and abide by all local requirements.

1. Each person, age 12 years and older, at the point of entry, who attends the indoor area of the Facility for the purpose of (a) actively participating in organized sports, (b) coaching, officiating at organized sports or volunteering, or (c) spectating at organized sports, will provide identification and proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or a valid medical exemption.·

2. All individuals will be afforded a grace period of 3 months (12 weeks) from their 12th birthday during which they will be required to provide identification but not required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Once the individual reaches the 12 weeks post their birthday they must provide proof of vaccination in accordance with this Letter of Instruction and any applicable legislation.·

3. Comply with all other requirements under the Reopening Ontario Act and its regulations as they apply to the above noted facilities.·

4. Minimize pre and post-game or practice activities and gathering time by arriving immediately before the beginning of an activity and leaving immediately following an activity. The above directive comes from the Windsor Essex County Health Unit and applies to all players/families/coaches etc.  This includes participants and spectators who may be travelling from a city in which the local health unit does not require full vaccination of youth (aged 12-17) participating in the sporting activity.

Those without these items will NOT be permitted to enter the facility. Proof of age is required for children under 12 years of age to allow our screeners the opportunity to verify they are exempt from the vaccination policy. Proof of age can be a copy or screenshot and does NOT have to have a photo.

Screening must be completed by each person who enters the facility, on each day they enter the facility.  Guests without mobile access are able to screen at the door.  Masks are required at all times in the facilities except when actively participating in the sport.

The link for screening is available here
