HOW THEY GOT THERE

TEAM 3 (ORANGE)

The orange team started their playoff run by going undefeated in their first three games. All while not allowing a single goal in those games. Their streak came to an end when they faced the No. 1 seeded grey team in week 4. It was a hard fought game and ended with the team suffering a 5-1 loss. They didn't let that get them down though. They secured their spot in the final game of the playoffs against the red team. What made the game so exciting was that it was down to just those two teams to decide who would move on to the Day of Champions. The orange team needed a tie while the red team needed the win. It was a very close back and forth game with both teams having many chances to go ahead. With the game tied 1-1 in the dying seconds of the game, the red team had several chances to go ahead but just couldn't get the puck to go in the net. The game ended in a 1-1 tie securing the orange team's spot in the Day of Champions.

TEAM 2 (GREY)

The grey team has been strong all season. After an undefeated season, they started the playoffs strong with large victories in their first two games. In their third game, it was a much closer game with the red team going up 2-0 into the second period. After fighting their way back into the game, they secured a 4-3 victory to continue their winning streak. They continued their strong play against both their opponents in the last two weeks to complete the playoffs with a 5-0 record.
